Group Op de Beeck has five different sites where its various activities take place. Below you will find more information about these sites.
Our head office is located in Olen and forms the central hub of Group Op de Beeck. All administration and planning are carried out at this site. The transport companies Orgacom bv and Vervoer Schellens bv are also located here.
Horticultural products are also produced and traded at this location. The site has its own workshop, where maintenance and repairs to our fleet are carried out. Finally, directly opposite the head office is a site that serves as a parking area for our fleet.
This seven-hectare site is used by Op de Beeck bv, just like the head office. It is mainly used for all activities related to animal feed and the processing of organic materials. In addition, the production and trading of horticultural products also continues at this site.
Finally, the transport company Henrard sa is also located here, providing efficient logistic support.
This site is operated by Merreco nv. This subsidiary of Group Op de Beeck specializes in soil processing and focuses on the development and production of substrates. In addition, it is also possible to deliver green waste and soil accompanied by a declaration of conformity to this location.
Thanks to its strategic logistical location along the Brussels-Scheldt Canal, large volumes can be loaded and unloaded efficiently at this site.
At this industrial site, BTP is solely responsible for processing raw bark sourced from southern Europe. The bark is treated and sieved into different fractions, tailored to various applications. From this location, we supply our other sites with bark.
Thanks to its strategic location along the Brussels-Scheldt Canal, several ships carrying bark, mainly from Portugal, can be unloaded at this site every month.
This site also belongs to BTP and plays a crucial role in the processing of raw bark. All bark imported to Puurs from Portugal is fully treated here in accordance with the applicable legislation. After this process, the bark is sanitised and compliant with Belgian import requirements. These strict legal requirements ensure a consistent and high quality of raw bark.
Thanks to its location in the immediate vicinity of the port of Aveiro, the connection between Tocha and Puurs can be established easily. Through this site, we ensure the sustainable and efficient import of raw bark.
